Human Geography Class

Today in human geography class we had a shadow. I forget his name but he is from St.Margarets school, and he can make a really weird squeaking sound by rubbing his hands together quickly. After the shadow showed us his awesome hidden talent, we discussed our circadian cycle. We talked about how Daylight Savings Time was made for kids that were waiting for the school bus every morning in the dark, it was a safety hazard so we came up with Daylight Savings Time so kids would not be waiting in the dark for the school bus. We then talked about the different time zones around the world, and  a scientist in 1879 wanted only one global clock instead of different time zones. I learned a lot today on the different time zones and why we have them.
