Today in human geo class we went over different population pyramids. Mr. Schick showed us many population pyramids of each type of population period. The three types of population pyramids are box, cup, and christmas tree. He also showed us many population pyramids of different countries and he had us guess what type of population pyramid the country would be. For example, Kenya and China were christmas trees, whereas the United States was a box. It was an interesting human geo class and I enjoyed it.

Xi Jenping's father was one of the founding fathers of the communist party. His wife is an army general and a folk singer, and his daughter went to Harvard. Angela Merkel has been working in the government since 2005, and has been #1 on FORBES magazine for most powerful woman in the world for 11 of the past 13 years, and she's #3 for the most powerful person in the world. These are just a few of the many world leaders we discussed today, and we still have more to go.

Today in human geo class we continued to discuss independent States. We watched a video where it listed all the countries in the world. After that we started a project where we were given 15 countries and we had to get the leader of that country, an official picture of them, a map of the country, and what kind of government the country has. I finished the project today, and it was not too difficult.
