Today in human geo class we took notes on a demographic transition chart which describes any country and its transitioning. Being born at a high rate, but dying off young still makes the population grow. Birth control can be a factor in the population, other factors are: many children are needed for farming, children in developing countries are dying at a young age, religious/ social encouragement, or no family planning available. Changes in death rates are bad health care, diseases, not a lot of hospitals or clinics, and the flu or other sicknesses.
Human Geography Class A Message to Garcia was published in 1899 originally as an inspirational essay. The essay was translated into 37 different languages and sold over 40 million copies. A Letter to Garcia was also made into a movie twice (once in 1916 and again in 1936). The Spanish-American War was fought in Cuba during the essay and it was a war for Cuba to gain independence from Spain.
